02 · HOW IT WORKS

Nothing interrupts the conversation. The review comes after.

Correction cards do not pop up mid-sentence. First you get through the situation with the other person; then you go back over what the two of you actually said.

  1. 01

    Pick a situation

Role, relationship, and goal are already in place. There is no prompt to engineer.

  2. 02

    Finish the conversation

The AI partner is built to hold its role as your manager, your professor, or the check-in agent, rather than break into teaching. Correction waits.

  3. 03

    Review the evidence

Five axes and the expressions worth fixing, explained in Korean and tied to the transcript.

  4. 04

    Practice, then go again

Start practice from that session’s expressions, or rehearse the same situation once more.

03 · FIVE-AXIS FEEDBACK, IN KOREAN

Not just a score. The reason behind it.

Which sentence was accurate, where the phrasing repeated, how you answered what you were asked. Each of the five axes points back to a line the two of you actually exchanged — explained in Korean.

Evidence found in the conversation
“Edge cases are bugging myself”

The same score can have different reasons. Use a line visible in the transcript to pick one thing to change next time.

There is something to reply to

A reference message comes with the task, so you are not staring at a blank page.

  2. 2

Before and after, side by side, with the reason in Korean.

  3. 3

    Register, too

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What to know before you begin.

Does this fit someone emigrating or studying abroad?

Yes. Alongside the workplace scenes there are the ones settling in brings — the visa / immigration office, opening a bank account, a maintenance request to a landlord — and the campus ones: office hours, a thesis defense, conference Q&A. 65 situations in total.

Can I rehearse a visa interview?

There is a “Visa / immigration office” situation, and you can hold that conversation in English. What you are rehearsing is the English only — it does not advise on visa procedure, documents, or how a case is assessed. That belongs to the official guidance for the country you are going to.

How is this different from a general AI chatbot?

You can build an English roleplay with a general AI. Namanu English starts from a situation whose role and goal are already set, and connects the finished conversation to five-axis Korean feedback and the practice that follows.

Does it assess pronunciation or accent?

Not currently. Feedback analyzes the text transcript rather than the audio. It examines accuracy, vocabulary and structure, sentence flow, interaction, and task completion as they appear in that record.

Is writing practice included?

Yes. Writing tasks cover the messages and emails you actually have to send, and what you write comes back marked up sentence by sentence in Korean.

Do I need to upload a résumé or file?

No. The prepared situations require no files. A limited pilot is separately validating features that use personal material; they are not part of the early-access path.

How long until I see a result?

There is not yet evidence to promise an outcome or a preparation period. What the first session does give you is a finished conversation and one expression, drawn from the record, to change next time.

Can I use it on mobile?

It launches first as a web application. The mobile-browser experience is being prepared; a separate native app comes later.

What does it cost?

There is no payment or card registration during limited early access.
