Asking a colleague for a favor
You need a hand from a coworker who is visibly in the middle of something.
What makes this one hard
Put the ask before the reason. Korean builds up to a request through context so the other person can see it coming, but in English a long preamble makes a busy colleague brace for something bigger than it is — lead with "could you take ten minutes to look at something?" and explain after. The phrase that keeps it from landing as pressure is "no worries if not", and it has to be said as though you mean it, because it is what makes a refusal cheap enough to give honestly.
